Wait is over : Ganguly joins mates in SA

Sourav Ganguly arrived in Johannesburg on Tuesday after getting delayed by a day due to visa problems.

Ganguly was chosen in the Indian Test team after a gap of almost 10 months and will be under tremendous pressure to perform after the Team India was drubbed 4-0 in the One-Day series.

The most important factor was Dada directly joined the team for the net practice which indeed suggests there is something which Dada wants to prove to the selectors.Also followed with interest will be his equation with India coach Greg Chappell. India play a practice game starting on Thursday before the first Test begins on December 15.

Ganguly, sporting the India blazer, joined his mates in the nets at the Sedgars Park where the rest of the team was practising.

Ganguly, the country's most successful Test skipper, stood for a while in the nets before walking up to Chappell, with whom he has not had the best of relations, and shaking hands with him.
